The brief
A quiet habit tracker where streaks feed a small plant instead of a scoreboard. Built as a Kotlin Multiplatform core with an Android app first and an iOS build sharing 74% of the code.
What we actually did
Wrote the streak and growth logic once in shared Kotlin so both platforms stay behaviourally identical.
Built widget and notification flows that nudge twice a day at most — the retention numbers held anyway.
Shipped a full dark-mode and dynamic-colour theme against Material 3 expressive tokens.
Ran the Play open test with 1,100 testers and folded the feedback into two pre-launch releases.
